If Time Throws Evil at You

If Time Throws Evil at You

translated by

Hatem Al-Shamea

If time throws evil at you

And life in your world becomes bitter,

Do not worry about your situation, but remember

How much of your life you spent in good deeds?

And if the earth becomes narrow for you one day

And you spend the night groaning from your world in misery,

The Lord of the universe did not make you cry

Except to learn that after hardship comes ease.

And if time is unfair to you, be patient

And ask your Lord for success and reward.

Perhaps God will reward you with good

And fill your broken heart with patience.

And if the aggressors wage war on you

And shed a river of the blood of the free,

Do not be sad, for your Lord is the Avenger

He will make victory from the blood of the heroes.

And if the tyrants impose humiliation on you

Do not submit and live your life free.

And say, O soul, I have a generous Lord

He will strip the dawn from the darkness of the night.

And if a friend wrongs you unjustly

And meets your loyalty with distance and abandonment,

Do not be sad for him and live proud

For you were the loyal one, that is enough pride for you.

And if life is clear to you, be careful

For a calamity may come to you treacherously.

How many people are rich in money in it

So he became dressed in humiliation and poverty.

And how many people in the world have great kingship

And he owned the land by land and sea.

But after the glory, death came to him

And he was entered into the darkness of the night, a grave.

This is the world, do not rely on it

And do not give it a place in the heart.

And extend your hands to the Merciful always

For your Lord will not return your hands empty.
