New Submissions Guidance
Welcome to the first issue of Arab Lit. & Trans. Magazine and Press! We are excited to announce our new literary platform, dedicated to promoting Arab literature and translation to a global audience. Our mission is to create a space where writers, translators, and readers can connect and engage with the rich cultural heritage and contemporary expressions of Arab literature.
We are currently accepting submissions for our inaugural issue, and we invite writers and translators from all over the world to contribute their works to our platform. Our focus is on showcasing the diversity of Arab literature, including works from different genres, regions, and languages. We also aim to promote the voices of marginalized communities and underrepresented groups.
We accept submissions of poetry, fiction, nonfiction, and literary translations. We are particularly interested in works that challenge dominant narratives and offer new perspectives on social, political, and cultural issues. We encourage submissions that explore themes such as identity, migration, diaspora, memory, and resistance.
To ensure the highest quality of our publications, we have a rigorous editorial process that includes multiple rounds of review and feedback. Our team of experienced editors and translators will work closely with authors and translators to ensure that their works are polished and true to their original intent.
In addition to our literary magazine, we also have a publishing arm that specializes in Arab literature in translation. We are committed to bringing the best of Arab literature to English-speaking readers, and we are actively seeking manuscripts for publication. If you are a translator or an author with a manuscript, we would love to hear from you.
We believe that literature can serve as a bridge between cultures and peoples, and we are dedicated to fostering a greater understanding and appreciation of Arab literature. We hope that through our magazine and press, we can create a vibrant community of writers, translators, and readers who share our passion for Arab literature.
